Picnic Island park is an iconic spot for every Tampa resident. I grew up playing in this park, and today it has playgrounds, pavilions, disc golf, boat and kayak launches to explore the tidal flats and mangrove forests, a beachfront dog park and a beautiful bay beach with a perfect western view for sunsets.

This painting captures a special moment where I felt deep gratitude for life, my family and my place in this world.
